sylvester stallone-4-1024x1024Stallone was born in a charity hospital located in New York's Hell's Kitchen. His birth was complicated by forceps injuries which led to trauma to a facial nerve. He was left with an eyelid that was sagging and speech difficulties. Stallone was a part of his early years in boarding schools. He was reunited with his family when he was five and moved with them to Maryland. Stallone initially was with his father after his parents' divorce in 1957, however, at the age of 15 , he was reunited with his newly married mother in Philadelphia. He attended a private school specifically for teens who were troubled due to his history of having been expelled from schools.
