Kari Kari Deanna DeannaKari Wuhrer, an American actress, is well popular as the protagonist of the popular TV show "Sliders". As of 1999, the actress dropped her debut album on the studio, Shiny. Born in Connecticut, Wuhrer began singing when she was quite young and began performing at night clubs while she was a teenager. Her first acting class was through the Wooster school when she was 13 years old. Later, she enrolled in several colleges to learn the art of drama. Wuhrer was first seen on screen in 1986 when she appeared in the romantic drama film 'Fire with fire. In the Fox show "Married... with Children", she performed the role of Joanie an recurring character. In her career spanning 30 years, she's managed to accumulate around 80 credits in film and on television. She's appeared in a number of popular films, however she is considered by many to be the Queen of B-movies due to her extensive filmography. Wuhrer also has been an MTV VJ and model. She was awarded the Best Actress Award in 2001 at the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival, for the film comedy Do It For Uncle Manny.
